Organization Seeks Volunteers To Assist Small Businesses

Do you have the business knowledge and expertise to help the business community thrive and grow? If so, then perhaps you should consider becoming a SCORE volunteer.

SCORE is a non-profit, charitable organization of business executives who counsel and advise small businesses. Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, but all are successful business professionals who have owned, operated and/or managed businesses. Nationwide, more than 11,500 SCORE volunteers provide information, resources, and tools vital to small business success.

Rogers State University’s Center for Economic & Community Development is a branch of the Tulsa SCORE Chapter. The local organization’s office is located in the Center for Economic & Community Development on RSU’s Claremore campus. Full-time staff members are available to answer the phone and schedule appointments for SCORE counselors to meet with clients. The university’s staff will provide volunteers with extraordinary support and resources to make your volunteer efforts more proficient.

For more information on becoming a SCORE volunteer, contact Lynn Wilson at the Center for Economic & Community Development at (918) 343-7533 or by email at [email protected].
