RSU Theatre to Present Student-Directed Plays April 7-9
The Rogers State University theatre program will present several 10-minute student-directed plays Thursday through Saturday, April 7-9, on the RSU campus in Claremore.
The plays will begin at 7:07 p.m. in the Will Rogers Auditorium. Each of the five plays will be approximately 10 minutes in duration. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and free to RSU students, faculty and staff. Tickets may be purchased at the door prior to the performances.
The plays include:
"The Problem with Language" by Alex Broun, directed by Kevin Hoffman of Catoosa, with cast members Yamile Lagaretta and Pan Miller;
"Closing Time" by RSU professor Mary Mackie, directed by David Prock of Collinsville, with cast Charity Emanuel of Claremore, RSU theatre director David Blakely and Daphne Sims of Talala;
"Sure Thing" by David Ives, directed by Josh Gammon of Broken Arrow with Alex Rincker of Claremore and Brandi Littledave of Jay, Okla.;
"A Day in the Park" by Colter Sharon of Collinsville, directed by Richard Cagle of Big Cabin, Okla., with Traci Rainwater of Pryor and Cody Nix of Morrison, Okla.; and
"Cinema Limbo" by Wade Bradford, directed by Andrew Nichols with Michelle O'Riordan of Claremore and Mike Laborico.
