I have shown outstanding achievement in my academic studies at Rogers State University by putting forth my greatest effort each semester towards my studies. I've achieved academic excellence by making my studies and classes my first priority.

I have shown outstanding commitment to the RSU campus and surrounding community by being actively involved and giving of my time. I am an active member of the sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha and have held many leadership positions within this organization. I am President and a founder of The PATH, Campus Ministries International. I have completed over 25 hours of community service per semester and have completed internships at both Bit By Bit, where I still actively volunteer, and Rogers County Youth Services.

I should be chosen as 2013 Homecoming Queen because I have proven to be a true Hillcat. I care about Rogers State University and the community and I have shown that through my actions and dedication. I would be honored to represent RSU and what we stand for.

"Vote for me to win the crown & you won't be let down, Anissia Rick for Queen."

I believe I have shown outstanding academic achievement by making the President's Honor Roll and the Dean's Honor Roll throughout my college career. I have maintained a GPA of 3.6, as well.

While a member of PLC, I am also president of both Chemistry Club and College Democrats. I have been involved in CAT going on three years which has provided the opportunity to plan events for both the campus and the community.

I believe that I should be chosen as Homecoming Queen for both my academic achievement as well as my level of campus involvement. I feel that I am a model ambassador for RSU everywhere I go.

I have shown outstanding achievement by surviving and thriving in my Honors classes. I have made good grades, and I have learned how to be a more well-rounded person.

I have shown outstanding commitment to the Rogers State Campus by being involved in on-campus activities such as Cru, BCM, and helping start S.O.D.A. club which I am now president of. I have volunteered at various events and places in the community throughout my years as a college student.

I think that I should be chosen to be the 2013 Homecoming Queen because I can represent Rogers State University as a student of excellence. I work hard in school, at my job, and I make time to help others whenever I can.

I am the Sophomore Class Representative and the Public Relations Chairman for the President's Leadership Class, and I am also the Fun and Games Director for the Campus Activities Team. I have maintained favorable status on the Dean's Honor Roll thus far in my college career.

Being in the President's Leadership Class as well as being the Fun & Games Director for the Campus Activities Team, Rogers State University is very special to me and I talk to prospective students as much as possible because I beleive it is the place for them as well. I am also a student worker in the Residential Life Department on RSU's campus and that gives me the opportunity to interact with the students who live on campus which I enjoy to the highest degree.

I feel that I represent Rogers State very well, being in PLC we are told that we are the "face of the university" and I do my best to maintain that face in everything I do to represent RSU in the best way possible. Interacting and socializing with people is one of my favorite things to do and with this great opportunity I know I will get to meet a lot of new and amazing people.

Through hard work and determination, I have been able to achieve a semester GPA of 3.5+ for the past few semesters.

I am the Vice President of both the Chemistry Club and the College Democrats, of which I participate in all events (campus and community).

I feel as though I am personable and kind, as should any Homecoming King be. Given RSU's tagline "It's Personal", I feel that I encompass our school's motto well.
