I've been able to keep a 3.0 GPA while working up to 3 jobs at one time. I received the OETA Gene Dillehay Scholarship showcasing success in the field of Communications. The Radio/TV program, has given me the opportunity to become Music Director of RSU Radio, and recently, I've been nominated nationally by the College Music Journal (CMJ) in New York City in the Best Newcomer category and the station for Most Improved. I've continued my education by adding a second minor, Graphic Design, along with my major and completed minor in Business Administration.

I am currently on my second term as the President of the Student Broadcasting Association. I have also acted in plays for the RSU Theater program and am the Music Director for 91.3 RSU Radio. I have worked at 3 Destination RSU's since being here and also assisted with many tour groups in the communication department.

I've been a Hillcat for the last 5 years with pride. As a freshman the first thing I did was join SBA, and now I'm the president. I've gone from listening to RSU Radio to selecting the music I think students on campus would like to hear. I've helped at recruitment events because I want RSU to grow as a college because of all it has to offer. I can't think of a better way to end my senior year here than as the 2012 Homecoming King.
