Grad School Prep Day at Rogers State University Nov. 1

Rogers State University Chapter of Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, is teaming up with Kaplan Test Prep to present Grad School Prep Day on Saturday, Nov. 1.

The free event is open to the public, but registration by Oct. 30 is required.

Grad School Prep Day will include a series of informational workshops followed by a free practice exam in several different fields.

The day-long event is designed to encourage and inform people who are thinking about going to graduate, business, law, medical, or pharmacy school, said Dr. Kevin Woller, Psi Chi advisor and associate professor of psychology at RSU.

“We are planning the event to share valuable information about advanced degree programs with RSU students, faculty and staff, as well as the community. We want to help people learn about the steps necessary to successfully navigate their way into graduate school,” Woller said. “I believe that a graduate education can help anyone realize their career goals, and ultimately make them a better and stronger member of the community.”

In addition, Kaplan will be holding a free sample GRE class at the Tulsa Kaplan Center from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6.

To register for Grad School Prep Day, the practice tests or the sample Kaplan class call Kaplan at (800) 527-8378.

Additional information is available by calling Dr. Woller at (918) 343-7568.
