Dr. Ford teaches a number of courses in the
Humanities, Philosophy, and Religious Studies at RSU. This spring he is teaching
the Senior Honors Seminar, Shakespeare, and Honors Study-at-Large in New
York City. Click on

Dr. Ford is Director of the Honors Program
at Rogers State University. He is the faculty advisor for the Oklahoma
Iota chapter of the Alpha Chi academic honor society at RSU. He also serves as
the faculty advisor for the university's annual Maurice Meyer Lecture. He
was advisor to SPQR (the RSU Paintball Club), and is Campus Coordinator
for the Red Cross. He is the Campus Coordinator for the Oklahoma
Scholar-Leadership Enrichment Program (OSLEP). Finally, he is the Coordinator for the
Studies-at-Large Center.
A Little Bit of Background: Dr. Ford
received doctoral and master’s degrees in religious studies from Princeton University, and a
bachelor’s degree in religion and philosophy
from the University of Tulsa. He participated in
an intensive German program at the Goethe
Institut in Dresden, Germany, and studied at the
London School of Economics. His academic
specialties include ethics, philosophy, and
religion. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the
most prestigious academic honor society. The
title of his dissertation is “Nietzsche,
Nihilism, and Christian Theodicy.”
Dr. Ford has led six studies-at-large
courses in the past six years, to Italy, London, London and Paris,
Scotland and Ireland, New York City, and Italy again.
In his spare time, he hosts "The Meaning
of Life" on KRSC 91.3 F.M.--every Sunday from 3-5 p.m. and again
