Dr. Juliet Evusa earned doctoral and master’s
degrees in telecommunication, a master’s in international affairs, and a
graduate certificate in women’s studies, all from Ohio University. She
also earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of
Baroda in India. Evusa’s area of academic focus is the evaluation,
analysis, and diagnosis of modern information communication technologies
as tools for socio-economic development in low-income societies. She has
presented extensively on issues related to Africa, including mass media,
the Internet, cultural issues, and socio-economic empowerment. She
previously served as adjunct faculty at Ohio University’s School of
Telecommunications.
