Dr. Gary Marché received a doctoral degree in economics from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in economics from Kansas State University. He is the author of the nationally recognized textbook Murder as a Business Decision: An Economic Analysis of Criminal Phenomena (San Francisco: Austin & Winfield, 1998). He also is the author of a published research articles in the area of law and economics concerning legal procedure, the legal system, and illegal behavior.
