Each student in our class will read and review a book on a topic related to temperance, Populism, or Progressivism. . The professor will assign the books, but you will have a say in the selection.
Please click on the Populism & Progrssivism and Temperance links below to view lists of books from which to choose. All should be available in the RSU Library (unless otherwise noted). You may want to check, because sometimes books are lost. Please do not check any book out of the library until the professor assigns it to you. Instead, identify your top six choices. Then open the Book Selection Form, save it to your computer, fill it out and e-mail it to the professor. I will assign books on a first-come first-served basis. Deadline: Friday November 2 at 10:00 A.M.
NOTE: If you reviewed a temperance book for the first review, you should choose from the Populism & Progressivism list this time.
Each book title is followed by a link to information about the book. Most of the links are to Amazon.com. If the link says "Detailed Info," you will be able to view the Table of Contents and other information about the book.
I will post the book assignments by Monday November 5.
