SBS 3033
Fall 2009
Group Project Guidelines
Posted November 4, 2009
There will not be any class
presentations of the articles. Each student is responsible only for reading and
writing about the two peer-reviewed academic articles selected.
The entire grade will be based on this individual work. The deadline for
the assignment is Tuesday November 24 at
8 AM.
During class on November 4 each
student will receive an assignment to a group and a topic.
Decide among yourselves which social science each student will
investigate (choosing from anthropology, sociology, psychology, and political
science). At your earliest
convenience, identify possible articles for study and contact the professor.
Your e-mail subject line should say, Perspectives Article Selections,
followed by your full name. The body
of the e-mail should contain a full bibliographic citation and an abstract for
each article. Send these by Tuesday
November 10 at 8:00 AM. The
professor will let you know whether the articles are suitable or whether you
need to do more looking
