General Instructions

Each student in our class will read and review one book on a topic related to witchcraft and another book on a topic related to Darwinism and the Scopes Trial.  The professor will assign the books, but you will have a say in the selection.  All the books are available in the RSU Library.

Darwinism Books

Please click on the Darwinism Books link below to view a list of books from which to choose.  For each book there is a link to information on amazon.com.  If the link is entitled Detailed Info, you will be able to see a table of contents and read an excerpt.

Please do not check any book out of the library until the professor assigns it to you.  Instead, identify your top eight choices. Then open the Book Selection Form, save it to your computer, fill it out and e-mail it to the professor. Be sure that the subject-line of the e-mail says Famous Trials Book Selection, followed by your full name.  I will assign books on a first-come first-served basis.

The deadline for submitting your preferences is Wednesday March 12 at 8 A.M.  I will complete the assigning of books no later than Friday March 14 at 12:00 noon.
