Dr. Patricia Seward received a doctoral degree in biochemistry from the University of Idaho, and a bachelor’s degree in genetics from the University of California at Davis. She has taught a variety of classes in the areas of biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology and molecular genetics. She also was chief chemist and analytical laboratory supervisor at the Freeport-McMoRan Gold Co. in Elko, Nev.
