Director of Early Settlement Mediation – Bartlesville Campus

Rogers State University is accepting applications for a Director of Early Settlement Mediation. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating mediation services for (6) counties in Northeastern Oklahoma, working with the state court system, local communities, and area schools.

Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or related field required. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have attended or can attend basic and family mediation training programs from the Administrative Office of the Courts and become certified in order to maintain the position. 

Position Summary:
Position is responsible for coordinating mediation services for (6) counties in Northeastern Oklahoma, working with the state court system, local communities, and area schools.

Primary Duties:
Works with the state court system, local communities, and area schools to provide mediation services.  Will be responsible for scheduling and conducting mediations according to Dispute Resolution Act, its Rules and Procedures, and directives from the Administrative Director of the Courts.

Secondary Duties:
Submit monthly reports and claims. Perform duties and comply with the terms of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Agreement. Minimum of approximately 60% travel throughout the service area.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or related field required. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have attended or can attend basic and family mediation training programs from the Administrative Office of the Courts and become certified in order to maintain the position. 

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree with training and experience in mediation services.

Knowledge and Skills:
Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision and has the ability to prioritize work assignments. Must have good oral/written communication skills. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office.

Hours:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Evenings and weekends as necessary.
