Assistant Professor of Biology

Rogers State University is currently seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Biology. The position requires a Ph.D. in Biology or a related field and a commitment to teaching excellence. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will be involved in student advisement, mentoring undergraduate research, and degree development. This academic program includes 325+ majors in two options, Medical Molecular Biology and Environmental Conservation, and an extensive pre-nursing support program. In addition to introductory Biology, significant consideration will be afforded a candidate who can teach Microbiology and combined Anatomy and Physiology, and will be encouraged to develop courses within the candidate's area of expertise that support the Molecular Biology degree option. Travel to our other campuses may be required. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
