Relay for Life

RSU hosted the Rogers County’s Relay for Life this year.  Relay for Life benefits the American Cancer Society. 

Details:

• Departments and organizations enter teams of up to 15 members
• Your team pledges to have a team member walking the Soldier Field track for 12 hours (7:00 AM)
• Each team member sets a goal of raising at least $100 in pledges or contributions
• If the team is able to raise a total of $1500 they get free participant t-shirts

This is a great time to get to know friends and colleagues and can be a staff chemistry builder.  Most teams bring a tent, grill, TV, cards, boards, games, etc. The physical plant is going to provide power for us but some teams still bring generators.

In the past, Relay has been held downtown. This year’s chairman, Roger Evans has worked with President Rice and the athletic department to host the event.  This will be a great way for RSU to continue building our relationship with Claremore and Rogers County.

Together we can continue to work towards finding a cure!
