Graduation Day

The RSU Bookstore will be open until noon on Saturday.

Line-up

Arrive no later than 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Line up by tassel color on the south side of the Expo.

• Download the Commencement Line-up Map and bring it with you.

            School of Business – Drab tassel
            School of Liberal Arts – White tassel
            School of Mathematics, Science, & Health Sciences – Gold tassel

Important:

• Please arrive dressed in your graduation regalia at the south side of the Claremore Expo no later than 20 minutes prior to the start of your commencement ceremony.
• Line up, single-file, according to tassel color, between the signs for your school.
• If you are graduating with honors, check in at the With Honors table immediately upon arrival.

Dress code

• Men should wear dark slacks, dress shoes, and an appropriate shirt under their gown. 
• Women should wear dark slacks or a skirt, along with an appropriate shirt and nice shoes. 
• Please arrive at the Expo dressed in your graduation regalia.

Photographs

• RSU has made arrangements for a professional photographer to take pictures of each graduate during the ceremony, and those will be available for purchase. 
• Family and friends are welcome to take candid photos; however, we request they remain in their seats to do so out of respect for others in attendance. 
• To order professional photographs of graduates on stage receiving diplomas from RSU President Dr. Larry Rice, please contact:

• RSU Public Television will be recording the event.
• DVD's are $20 each.
• Order yours now.

Seating

• Graduates will walk in together during the processional and will sit in the floor seating. 
• Faculty marshals will guide graduates to the correct row.
• No chairs should be left empty.
• Family and friends will be seated in the side seating.
• Floor seating will be available for guests with special needs, contact Joy Lin Husted at (918) 343-6803 to make accommodations.

Parking

• Graduates and guests should park in the main parking lot at the Expo Center. 
• Overflow parking is located on the campus of Rogers State University, with a complimentary shuttle to and from the Expo.

Guests

• There is no limit on the number of guests each graduate may bring to commencement. 
• However, due to limited seating, if a large group would like to sit together, it is advisable for the entire group to arrive at the Expo Center early to secure their seats.
