Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center

The program is specifically designed to meet the special needs of individuals that cope with challenges in their daily lives.

These special needs or considerations may be in the areas of cognitive, developmental, behavioral or physical or a combination of several disability areas.

Quick Facts
We serve 76 special needs students weekly
We use 13 therapeutic trained horses
More than 120 volunteer hours weekly
Classes are free for special needs students

Bit by Bit provides a safe, regularly scheduled equine experience based on the individual goals of each student.

Classes are free for students and offered several times each week. Because of the nature of therapeutic horseback riding, class size is limited.

Horses are trained and maintained for this purpose by North American Riding for the Handicapped Registered Instructors to ensure the environment is conductive to the development and improvement of strengths necessary for improved daily functional skills of the students.
