Student admiring art in the art gallery

Department of Fine Arts

Foundations Gallery

The new Foundations Gallery located in Baird Hall on the RSU Claremore Campus is now open and an active schedule of art exhibits are underway. Faculty and RSU student artworks, high school competitions and art from outside the university will be shown throughout the year in this beautiful facility.

In addition to the brand new gallery, RSU art students now work and learn in two very well-equipped art studios, a top-of–the-line computer graphics lab, two photography labs, a photo studio, an art archive, Fine Arts Department offices, a lecture space, an outdoor teaching amphitheatre, a performance space and a seminar room in Baird Hall.

All these new facilities are added to the existing 3D/Sculpture Lab located on the west side of campus.

Over the last few years, a cooperative agreement has existed with two important area galleries. They have generously agreed to show the work of RSU students and/or faculty at their convenience.
