A.A. Accounting

The Associate in Arts in Accounting degree is designed for those students who are interested in a career in accounting. The program provides the knowledge and skills for preparing graduates to:

• gain immediate entry-level employment in accounting
• advance in other business-related careers
• transfer to a four-year program

Students study:

• reconciling and balancing accounts
• compiling reports
• managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• other financial and managerial accounting topics

The curriculum is designed to transfer to a four-year degree program.
