Conservation Education Reserve
A 100-acre outdoor education facility adjoining the RSU campus, the RSU Conservation Education Reserve is a joint effort by the University and the Rogers County Conservation District, in cooperation with the Department of Wildlife and the Oklahoma Conservation Commission.
The Texaco Foundation, founding benefactor of the reserve, has provided funds to develop five key components of the facility, including a wetlands walkway, view tower, amphitheater, dock, Challenge Course, water study labs, backyard habitat and butterfly garden, and various trails with more than 130 educational stations and exhibits.
